Thank you for coming to visit my blog. As you can see, I have just purchased my first home, a little two story brick house in a small neighborhood on the island of Montreal. My name is Christine, and I am new to the world of design and house-ownership but I think that this blog will be the perfect place to share my ideas, inspiration and frustration during this process.

Things I like: Minimalism, Monochromatic color schemes with bold pops of color, my puppy, typography, the ocean

Things I dislike: People who misuse the word ‘literally’, carrots, cookie cutter houses

The house is about twice as old as I am, built in 1954, and has all the character that I could have hoped for. I can’t wait to make it my own and really turn the space into a home for many years to come.
